  • 🇵🇹 Our Lady of Fátima (1917, Portugal)

    Mary appeared to three shepherd children with urgent calls for prayer, penance, and devotion to her Immaculate Heart. Included were prophecies (Three Secrets) and the Miracle of the Sun witnessed by thousands.

    🇲🇽 Our Lady of Guadalupe (1531, Mexico)

    Mary appeared to Juan Diego, leaving her image miraculously imprinted on his cloak. This led to massive conversions in the Americas and is now a major symbol of Mexican Catholicism.

    🇫🇷 Our Lady of Lourdes (1858, France)

    Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous in a grotto, asking for prayer and penance. A spring with healing waters emerged at the site, making it a global pilgrimage destination.

    🇮🇪 Our Lady of Knock (1879, Ireland)

    Fifteen witnesses saw a silent apparition of Mary, St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist, and a lamb by an altar. No words were spoken, emphasizing silent prayer and hope.

    🇫🇷 Our Lady of La Salette (1846, France)

    Two children saw Mary weeping, warning of spiritual neglect and calling for prayer and conversion. The message included prophecies and a call to respect Sundays and God’s name.

    🇫🇷 Our Lady of the Golden Heart / Beauraing (1932–1933, Belgium)

    Five children saw Mary, who identified herself as the "Immaculate Virgin" and revealed her golden heart. She urged prayer, especially for sinners, and asked for a chapel to be built.

    🇫🇷 Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal (1830, France)

    Mary appeared to St. Catherine Labouré, instructing her to create a medal with her image and words: “O Mary, conceived without sin…” The medal became widely known for miracles and conversions.

    🇱🇹 Our Lady of Šiluva (1608, Lithuania)

    Mary appeared weeping over a loss of faith, especially the neglect of the Eucharist. The apparition helped rekindle Catholicism in a region affected by the Reformation.

  • 🇵🇱 Our Lady of Leżajsk (1578, Poland)

    A woodcutter was led by a vision of Mary to find her image in the forest. A basilica was later built, becoming a site of Marian devotion and miraculous healings.

    🇫🇷 Our Lady of Laus (1664–1718, France)

    Mary appeared to Benoîte Rencurel for many years, encouraging prayer, conversion, and the healing of souls. The site is associated with inner healing and confession.

    🇨🇭 Our Lady of Zion (1842, Rome, by a Jewish convert)

    Alphonse Ratisbonne, a non-believer, saw an apparition of Mary at the Church of Sant'Andrea delle Fratte. It led to his dramatic conversion and founding of the Congregation of Our Lady of Sion.

    🇵🇱 Our Lady of Gietrzwałd (1877, Poland)

    Mary appeared to two girls and spoke in Polish, affirming the Rosary and urging repentance. It’s the only fully Vatican-approved Marian apparition in Poland.

    🇮🇹 Mary, Help of Christians (Various, title approved in 1815)

    Not tied to a single apparition, this is a title Pope Pius VII promoted after surviving Napoleon’s captivity. St. John Bosco later built a basilica under this name in Turin, after dreams and visions.

    🇧🇪 Our Lady of Banneux (1933, Belgium)

    Mary appeared to Mariette Beco, calling herself the "Virgin of the Poor." She offered comfort to the sick and suffering, and asked for a chapel and healing spring.

    🇫🇷 Our Lady of Pontmain (1871, France)

    Mary appeared to children during the Franco-Prussian War, offering hope and promising peace. Her silent message read, “But pray, my children. God will answer you very soon.”
